Speaker Application

The LIFE at UCF Curriculum Committee develops and manages all lectures given in our class sessions. The committee is always looking for new topics and speakers for our continuing education classes. They are interested in providing the broadest possible range of topics to our members. The membership is eager to find out what is new and exciting in all areas of endeavor from forensics to Opera, or from nano technology to the latest treatment in cancer. We encourage those desiring to speak to a highly motivated and interested population of senior citizens apply to the LIFE Curriculum Committee. Lecture schedules are scheduled approximately 6 months in advance, so you are encouraged to submit application early.

Speakers are provided a modest honorarium for each lecture. Programs are forty-five minutes in length plus an additional 15 minutes allowed for questions and answers. Although most lectures are presented by UCF faculty members, many others from universities, government agencies, museums, and specialists are included in our programs. Presentations are limited to providing information to our members. No solicitation of products or services is allowed.
